About
ePower Nigeria & ePower Impacts
First things first, ePower is an extension of Snuggleready.com, based in Melbourne.
Back in 2019, I began a journey that would change everything, not just for me, but for the people I care about most.
I was studying Urban Planning and Environmental Sustainability at RMIT University right here in Melbourne.
On paper, I was learning how to build better cities. But in my heart, I was chasing something deeper: a solution to Nigeria’s crippling power crisis.
It wasn’t just academic. It was personal.
There were days I couldn’t reach my mum back home because the electricity was out. Sometimes for hours. Sometimes for days.
One day, her power bank exploded while charging—it literally caught fire in her hands. I can still hear her voice as she told me what happened. That image has never left me.
So, while my classmates debated solar policy or urban design theory, I kept asking myself one urgent question:
How can I transform this knowledge into actual, reliable power for Nigerian homes and beyond?
Fast forward to 2025.
What began as a dream in a Melbourne lecture hall is now a growing movement on two continents.
ePower Nigeria is our answer to the chaos — a smart, silent, smoke-free energy solution designed specifically for Nigerian realities. Built with care in Australia, but made for the grit and grace of everyday Nigerians.
And we didn’t stop there.
We created ePower Impacts — the nonprofit arm that ensures we reach the most vulnerable: off-grid communities, rural clinics, classrooms, and families living on less than $2 a day.
Where ePower Nigeria offers smart energy storage as a product, ePower Impacts delivers it as a lifeline, funded by donors, grants, and carbon credit partnerships.
Together, we’re lighting up lives, not just homes.
This Is More Than a Startup.
It’s a Movement.
A movement for mothers who shouldn’t fear charging a phone.
For students who deserve light when they read at night.
For small business owners who need power to stay open.
For the villages that the national grid forgot.
ePower is about freedom, dignity, and possibility.
It’s about saying, “We won’t wait for government change. We’ll build the future ourselves.”
From Melbourne, with Purpose
we’ve built this with local roots in Nigeria and global vision in Australia.
Our team spans both worlds. So does our heart.
And now we’re opening the door.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something that matters — this is your chance.
Whether you power a home, fund a community, or spread the word — you’re in the story now.
This isn’t charity. It’s a change.
For Nigeria. From the heart. With impact.
